Ashland Town Center Celebrates Addition of Three New Retailers
Town center welcomes The Preppy Turtle, Neel Thredz Spa and Time Warp
Exciting changes are underway at Ashland Town Center. Three new retailers have joined the retailer mix. In addition to the recent opening of The Preppy Turtle and Neel Thredz Spa, Time Warp will host an upcoming grand opening celebration on May 1.
Ashland Town Center is pleased to welcome Time Warp, opening on May 1, next to Hot Topic. The ribbon cutting will take place at 11 a.m. in front of the store. Time Warp offers a mix of sports merchandise, sports memorabilia, sports cards, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. They also have new and vintage toys, Warhammer, Board Games, Funko Pops, Posters and more. As part of their grand opening celebration, customers can enter to win prizes with a $10 minimum purchase. Prizes include a Nintendo Switch, $400 box of basketball cards, and (10) tickets to the FTC Wresting event on May 14, and (2) $100 Time Warp gift cards. Customers can also meet WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the store for the grand opening celebration.
The Preppy Turtle, located near Five Below, opened in early March. The Preppy Turtle is locally owned and operated and strives to bring southern hospitality into all of their customers lives. The new store features the Simply Southern line of clothing, accessories and gifts and is recognized as a preferred retailer for the brand.
Neel Thredz Spa, located next to maurices, opened in mid-April. They offer eyebrow threading and tinting, threading of the upper lips, full face and sideburns. They are accepting walk-in customers at this time.

Ashland Town Center continues to offer a variety of notable retail locations to offer guests the most dynamic shopping experience. In the last year, 10 new stores have opened at the town center with continued growth and tenant mix upgrades on the way. These are just a few examples of Ashland Town Center’s ongoing commitment to creating a true town center where community members can safely shop, dine, and safely gather together.
Ashland Town Center remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In the continued need to address COVID-19, the town center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct, effective immediately and until further notice.
In addition, the Code of Conduct, which is posted at the Town Center and available online, includes the following guidelines:
Ashland Town Center’s already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will also continue many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly trafficked areas and walkways for public use.
